Despite their name, Partick Thistle Football Club have played at Firhill Stadium in Maryhill, Glasgow since 1908. The club play in the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and have been members since it formed in 2013. As Greaves Sports are the club’s Official Retail Partners I had the privilege of designing marketing collateral for the club’s merchandise throughout the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 seasons.
Partick Thistle’s team nickname is “The Jags”. They have a world famous mascot called Kingsley. Kingsley was designed by an American artist, David Shrigley. Their corporate colours are red, yellow and black and they use rough, grainy textures on club visuals. My role as a Graphic Designer for Greaves Sports is to promote the sale of club merchandise via the Greaves website and social media channels.
